We organize schools in areas where the poorest segments of the population live. Primarily in rural areas and hard-to-reach regions of Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Pilot launch – Burundi. Scaling in 2026: Uganda, Madagascar, Laos.
The first students of the 'School Under the Sky'
Pygmy tribe children in Burundi
There are about 50 children in the tribe who have no opportunity to attend school at all. In the 21st century, 50% of Burundi's population cannot read or write. Our school is literally the only chance for these children to escape total poverty.
School format
Lessons take place outdoors under a tent in the teacher's home yard or in a rented space. Children sit on mats or benches. Teachers are local residents.
1 class up to 80 children
1 teacher
3–5 lessons per day with breaks and a snack
5-day school week
To launch the project, we need one-time funding of $1,300 – for renting a house, purchasing a tent, benches, and mats, and $1,300 monthly – for the teacher's salary, notebooks, chalk, tea, and snack supplies.

Project goals
Eradicate illiteracy Teach children to read, write, and count. Provide basic knowledge across a wide range of subjects.
Eradicate poverty Break the 'poverty cycle' in the region by giving children of impoverished parents a chance to escape poverty through access to education and gaining a competitive profession.
Socialize Create conditions for children to have healthy communication and form a progressive worldview.
Provide equal opportunities Compensate for the lack of family resources by giving all children a chance for self-realization, regardless of their social status.
Develop the region's economy By reducing the financial burden on families and increasing the competitiveness of school graduates in the labor market.
